Ty Hensley grew up with a father who believed in financial education, ensuring his son understood investments, insurance, and credit from an early age. From annual financial checkups with the family’s stockbroker and insurance agent to lessons on loan amortization and compound interest, Ty was immersed in the financial world long before he stepped onto the professional fairway.


With this foundation, Ty set his sights on helping others navigate the course toward financial independence. He pursued his passion with precision, honing his skills in mathematics and statistics before earning a degree in accounting, equipping himself with expertise to help drive long-term financial success for his future clients.

Ty Hensley

Wealth Advisor


Ty Hensley is a financial advisor holding himself to a fiduciary standard. For over a quarter of a century, he has been serving individuals committed to realizing their retirement goals.


Ty has dedicated his life to guiding others to pursue a more fulfilling life by offering them sage financial advice and building strong financial plans aligned with their needs and goals. 


He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Winthrop University in South Carolina. His gift in finance was confirmed when he was named winner of the “BIG”, Business Investment Game, which included faculty and graduate students. 


Since joining LPL Financial five years ago, LPL has consistently recognized Ty as a Director level* qualifier, a notable status. While Ty is humbled by the recognition, his true passion is helping his clients strive for their financial goals.


In his free time, Ty enjoys flying small aircrafts, spending time with his family, and time on the lake.

Patricia ensures the smooth and accurate journey of Hensley Retirement Planning clients by diligently handling the details of preparing and processing of all documents, from onboarding new clients to asset transfers and record keeping. 


Her 26+ years of experience in Banking and the Financial Services industry, both nationally and internationally, have given her the knowledge to make the backend process feel easy for our clients. She excels at paying careful attention to each element, so the process is performed promptly and precisely.


Patricia recently obtained the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification. 


Patricia thrives in assisting clients and scrutinizing their documents to ensure excellence in completion. She also enjoys being active and spending time with her loved ones.

Mark Capecci

Client Service Associate


Mark Capecci’s focus as a client service associate is to reinforce an exceptional client experience at Hensley Retirement Planning. A welcome asset, Mark upholds the standard of excellence through his ability to focus on our client's administrative needs and constantly make improvements. 


After graduating from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Mark pursued his keen interest in the market by interning at Fidelity Institutional. He later used his skills managing brick-and-mortar assets.


Mark has been with Hensley Retirement Planning since June of 2020. Ty recognized early on Mark’s ability to serve clients’ needs with kindness and warmth. In working closely with Ty, Mark has also gained an understanding of how the financial markets function and of the various trading platforms utilized by Hensley Retirement Planning.


When he isn’t studying the market, you can find Mark on the golf course as a competitive tournament golfer in his hometown, Charlotte, North Carolina.
